Computer:
A computer is a Machine that can be Programmed to accept Data and store it for later use.A computer is Consist of Software And Hardware.The Machine is called Hardware and the program installed on the computer is called software the computer is work according to the instructions given in the computer.
Primary Components of Computer System:
A computer is Required Different and many Components to perform the functions of input processing,output and storage:
- Input Devices
- Processing Devices
- Output Devices
- Storage Devices
Input Devices:
Anything Given to the computer such as data or instruction is called Input.input devices are used to input data into the computer system.these devices send this data to the processing unit. mostly Common used Input Devices are Keyboard mouse and scanner.
Processing Devices:
The Processor is Used to process data.it is also called Central Processing unit(CPU).it is the brain of the computer.it consist of electron circuit.CPU interprets and Executes the program instructions.All computers must have Central Processing Units CPU.
Main memory is used to Store the input data before Processing.It also stores Processed data after processing until the data is sent to the output devices.the main memory is closely connected to CPU but it is different from it.
Output Devices:
The Data processed into useful information is called output.Output Devices are used to Display the result of processing.The Most common output devices are monitor LCD Printer ETC.
Storage Devices:
Storage usually refers to the secondary storage.The Main memory stores data and program temporarily.The secondary storage is required to store data,information and programs permanently.The most common storage devices are Hard disk,USB,CD DVD ETC.
